I don't get it whatsover-to Me He brings nothing to the table-He's a spot monkey and has no believabilty in My opinion.Who in the FUCK thought putting the strap on Him would be a good idea?

Putting aside the merits of giving the belt to Punk, I thought it was a well-done angle (which you cant always say for WWE). It got around the situation of Raw having "no champ" after the draft
I'd have to believe that another reason WWE put the belt on Punk is because they now have a poster child for the "mainstream media" of a Champ who doesn't look like he's on the juice (although I think he'll end up being more of a transitional champ.
However, I've seen him in ROH (live & on tape) and he is a bit of a throwback, in that he can go 45-60 minutes if he has to. Unfortunately, that skill really doesnt matter in today's WWE.

Allow Me to clarify if I may-When I said Punk was a spot monkey I was referring to the choreographed preplanned feel of His matches-a collection of spots rather than a match called on the fly, with ebb and flow, call and response.Ergo,a spot monkey. It's been Your pleasure.

So far they seem to be sticking with the C.M.Punk push, and it seems to be working.I've been wrong before, and it will probably happen again, but I don't know, this just doesn't feel long term. We'll see.

By the time Unforgiven comes, it'll be over 2 months already. The RAW brand seems to have the "scramble" match that it would be "most difficult" to defend against. Shelton, Jeff, Kendrick and MVP in SmackDowns but JBL, Rey, Kane and Batista in RAWs.
