In the Democartic primary, Hispanics were leaning towards Hillary. As for now, good question- I havent' seen the numerical breakdown yet.
Latest Gallup poll has Obama up by only 3 points. Once again, it looks like it's coming down to voter turnout and the Electoral College.

Looks like Canadians will be going to the polls in late October,or about 2 weeks before the U.S.Elections.What a time to be a politics junkie.I predict the Status quo will prevail in Canada and we'll have another minority Parliament-the only question is whether it will be Liberal or Conservative-the opinion polls have them neck and neck in public opinion.

If a Government has a majority,it can be as long as 5 Years between elections.Minority Parliaments can fall at any time,if the Opposition parties decide they have no confidence in the Government. Then, theoretically, the Governer-General can ask the head of the largest opposition party to form a Government, however it usually ends up there's a election. There is no minimum-in 1979 the Conservatives got in with a Minority, and lasted 9 Months before the combined forces of the opposition parties brought them downand the Liberals got back in with a majority.

Stephan Dion(From Quebec),who mangles English almost as badly as Dusty Rhodes(I know, hard to believe isn't it?) For a second, I thought you wrote "Celine Dion".... So, Vito, what are the other "major' minor parties in Canada, and who are their leaders? Is the NDP still around? And the Quebecers? Whatever happened to that party based in the Prarie States; are they still around?

Yes Ivan the NDP are still in existence, they actually had 30 Seats in Parliament before the most recent election was called. The Bloc Quebecois are still in existence, but they're losing traction, even in Quebec-they'll probably lose seats. The Reform Party(based in Western Canada)merged with the Progressive Conservatives(I know, that's a oxymoron, isn't it?)a few years ago to form the Conservative Party of Canada, who formed the most recent Government. The Liberals are the Official opposition, and they'll probably be back there after the Election-in which case Dion's ass is in a sling.

The Conservatives are way ahead of the Liberals in the polls-most recent had the Conservatives at 39%,the Liberals at 23%,the NDP at 15% I believe, and the other parties in single digits.
